Enviromental dangers of Crater Lake includes earthquakes. This is because there are many faults under the Crater Lake region. Earthquakes at Crater Lake can trigger other disasters such as landslides and rockfalls. If the material from these disasters fall into the lake fast enough, strong and hazardous waves can be produced. There is also the threat of an eruption.
